    TRAFFIC ALERT
    Please be advised that demolition work on the NASA Parkway Bridge that crosses Interstate 45, is scheduled to begin March 6. During the demolition, the Gulf Freeway, just north of League City to Bay Area Boulevard, will be closed. Drivers should expect major delays in the Webster area, so please give yourself ample time to arrive at the Port of Galveston in time to park and board your cruise prior to its scheduled departure.
    Alternate routes onto Galveston Island include state Highway 3, Highway 6, and Highway 146 .
